Pavilion Digital.
Pavilion Digital was envisioned as a revolutionary platform for go-to-market leaders, designed to blend in-person and virtual events, on-demand courses, and an expansive peer network into one integrated digital experience. This project aimed to redefine professional development by consolidating key resources and community tools into a singular, streamlined experience, striving to significantly boost member retention, satisfaction, and overall value from the platform. Although it wasn't ultimately fully built, Pavilion Digital was aimed to be a beacon in career advancement and professional networking.
My Role.
As the VP of Product at Pavilion, I led the initiative for Pavilion Digital. My role involved conceptualizing the project, building and guiding a multidisciplinary team across product, engineering, and design, and establishing an efficient product development framework. I developed and conveyed the product vision and strategy, aligning it with our goals to improve member engagement and value. Despite the project not reaching full fruition, my efforts were focused on laying the groundwork for what was designed to be a transformative professional development tool.
Challenges.
The primary challenge we faced was the fragmented member experience spread across multiple digital platforms, creating operational inefficiencies and scalability issues. Migrating nearly 10,000 members to the new Pavilion Digital platform required meticulous planning and execution to avoid disrupting the business.
Solutions.
Team Building: Assembled a highly skilled team of seven across product, engineering, and design.
Agile Process Implementation: Instituted an agile product development process, leveraging the Scrum Framework for effective dual-track discovery and delivery.
Unified Platform Development: Launched Pavilion Digital, a web application that unified all member benefits into one intuitive interface.

The launch of Pavilion Digital's beta version marked a significant milestone in our journey toward providing a seamless member experience. Key achievements include:
